Anushka Sharma on her journey from young girl to producer: ‘I decided to work as a teenager, growing up ever since – Bollywood

Actress and filmmaker Anushka Sharma is proud of her achievements. On Monday, she shared throwback photos from childhood, and recalled her journey over the years.

Her post is a photo collage that shows how she too developed into the main character from her latest production, Bulbul. The photographs show Bulbul and herself as young girls and grown women. “Bulbul’s story is a girl’s journey from innocence to strength and resilience … and this is a story with which I am very familiar. Being a part of the modeling industry at the young age of 15 was a lasting influence for me. My father was a very big influence, always pushing me to work hard and share positive affirmations about life and development, ”Anushka captioned her post.

“Understanding how the industry worked to be a producer at just 25 years old, I started Clean Slate Films to tell the best stories from there. Working with new faces and fresh talent has definitely given me a new perspective. We are all constantly growing, changing and evolving as human beings and there is a quiet power there, ”she said.

“When I was a teenager, I chose to dive into work and I have been growing ever since. Early starts have taught me a lot and I choose to apply that knowledge to my personal and professional life every day.

His two previous projects – Patal Lok and Bulbul – were released on Amazon Prime and Netflix respectively. Right from my first film, I worked really hard to get a chance to collaborate with some of the best filmmakers in our country. I always wanted to try and work with the best writers and directors. “
