Actor Karthik Aryan’s action film with director Om Raut has been banned as producers want to shoot the film abroad, which will not be possible for some time amidst the coronavirus epidemic. The 3D action film produced by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series was to be shot at various locations in India and abroad. However, the makers have decided to take up the project at a later date.
“We’re doing it (the film) later. It’s on hold because the film involves a lot of foreign shooting and we can’t shoot overseas. The team was supposed to shoot in Hong Kong, but can’t because of coronavirus . ” To find out what to do. There were other places. It is a state-of-the-art action film, ”a source in the film told PTI.
Raut made his directorial debut as Ajay Devgan, Saif Ali Khan and Kajol from “Tanaji: The Unsung Warrior” earlier this year. The period action film grossed Rs 350 crore worldwide. The untitled film with Aryan was his next Bollywood venture. The team is now making script changes as they are still committed to making action films.
The source said, “They (Karthik Aryan and Raut) are both committed to the film. They want to make the film. The team will have to change the script as it (shooting in Hong Kong) is not possible.” Shooting of another Aryan film – “Bhul Bhulaiya” with director Anees Bazmee – was also affected as the coronovirus epidemic hit the country when the team was filming in Lucknow in March.
The actor will also star in the much awaited sequel to the 2008 blockbuster “Dostana”. Directed by debutant filmmaker Colin D’Cha and produced by Karan Johar, the film will also star Janhvi Kapoor and debutant actress Lakshmi Lalwani.
