Rajat Barmecha revealed that he was jealous when Ranveer Singh received the Best Actor award for the band Baja Baaraat
The Bollywood actor, who made his Bollywood debut with Vikramaditya Motwane’s film Udayan, recently revealed that he was jealous and disappointed when Ranveer Singh won the Best Actor award for his performance in the band Baja Baaraat. Speaking to NBT, Rajat said, “In 2013, almost all the awards went to Uday. Even it won the award for Best Film. But when the Best Actor was announced, it was Ranveer and I Wasn’t, and I was a bit. I was disappointed at the time. “He said,” Everyone praised me a lot for my work in the film. Amitabh Bachchan also wrote a blog about me and Udaan. So I I could not digest the fact that I was like when Udayan got the best film award. ” Not the best actor. I was present in every frame throughout the film. ”
Rajat revealed at an event that he and Ranveer shared the best actor award and RS dropped him out of the trophy. “This was when I was just 21 years old. I was quite naïve then and these feelings were a product of my naivete. I never had any hard feelings for Ranveer or ever had anything bad for him. Now after all these years, I Barmecha said, “I have become more mature and now I find these stories very funny. If this happens today, I will not react the same way. Also, I have no jealousy with Ranveer. ”
Talking about Udaan, Ronit Roy, Manjot Singh, Anand Tiwari and Ram Kapoor played important roles in the film.
