Television actor Ratan Rajput, who is stuck in Bihar due to the lockdown, recently visited Sushant Singh Rajput’s Patna residence. In a video posted on Instagram, Ege Janam Mohe Bitiya opened up about meeting Kijo actor Sushant’s father and sister, and how his strength gave him hope.
Ratan started the video by saying that he was getting many calls to react to Sushant’s demise. The actor lamented how people question why no one mourned or visited their homes. “People criticize being silent and say that you want to be in the news when you talk. I didn’t really know how to react and what to say. It was more important to regain your emotional balance after such a tragic event. “
On 14 June, Sushant Singh Rajput, 34, was found dead at his Bandra home. An actor best known for acting in films like Kai Po Che, MS Dhoni and Chhichhore died of suicide.
Ratan Rajput further said that when he was thinking of comforting Sushant’s father, he gave him strength and hope in his meeting. He said, “I was nervous about what I was saying, but after uncle spoke, I gained more strength.” He has lost a young son, but his pain had a different energy. There was so much positivity that what he spoke is very rare. He is a very different man, and I feel like a changed person after meeting him. “
Ratan also shared that she met Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister, and the family taught her that one had to move on. The actor also shared that he made a promise to his father to always visit him whenever he is in Patna. “I was feeling very little after my death and finally, I think everything is normal. Everything the family has done helped me overcome my pain. I go to my hometown every year, and I promised uncle that I will visit him every time I come here. “
The meeting has helped Ratan to share, as well as further enhance his bond with his mother, “My mother was worried about me, and when I talked about going back to work, Even then she used to get nervous. While doing all this, I did not want to stress him, I never told him about my problems with him. After meeting Uncle, I realized that the family is the one that will always be there for you. My mother also told me that as parents, they have handled all our concerns and they can still do so. She said that they can share their experiences which can help us make better decisions. This is the first time I have had such a deep conversation with him. “
Santoshi Maa actor again thanked Sushant Singh Rajput’s father for concluding the video. He said, “They have really made me hopeful for life and have communicated positivity.” I hope he continues to inspire people. I cannot thank them enough for giving me hope with my strength. Also, I am praying to God that Sushant gets the justice he deserves. “
