It has been more than two weeks since Sushant Singh Rajput died. He was just 34 years old and the world is still shocked. His sister Shweta Singh Kirti shared a picture on her Facebook page. The picture shows how the family gave the late actor a “final farewell” with “love and positivity”. “One last love and positivity stops sending to my younger brother. Hope you are always happy wherever you are … We will always love you for all eternity. #SanthiSingrajput,” read the caption.
A few days ago Sushant’s family issued an emotional statement. It wrote, “Sushant Singh Rajput of the world was just Gulshan for us.
He was free-spirited, talkative and incredibly bright. He was curious about just about everything. He dreamed without restraint and pursued those dreams with the heart of a lion. He smiled generously. He was the pride and inspiration of the family. His binoculars were his most prized possession, through which he adored the stars.
We cannot bring ourselves to accept that we will not get to hear their easy laughter. That we will not see his glowing eyes again. That we will never hear his endless fare about science. Their loss has created a permanent, shining void in the family that will never fill.
He truly loved and nurtured every one of his fans. We thank you very fondly to Gulshan.
To honor his memory and legacy, the family has decided to set up the Sushant Singh Rajput Foundation (SSRF) to support young talents in areas close to his heart – cinema, science and sports.
His childhood home in Patna’s Rajiv Nagar will be converted into a memorial. We will keep his personal memoirs and stuff there, including thousands of books, his binoculars, flight-simulator, etc. for his fans and admirers. From now on, we intend to maintain their Instagram, Twitter and Facebook pages as legacy accounts to keep their memories alive. “
