The third installment of Netflix’s popular teen romance franchise, Kisses Booth, has already been shot and will premiere on the streaming platform next year. The news comes a few days after the rom-com sequel debuting the streaming service.
According to Deadline, actors Joey King, Joel Courtney, Jacob Allordy, Taylor Jakhar Perez, Massey Richardson-Sellers, Megan Young and Molly Ringwald are set to return for the third film.
“We filmed two and three at the same time,” Courtney shared with YouTube’s cast members. “It was the hardest secret ever,” Raja said, filming was difficult because “one day we were going to be filming both of us.” Netflix also announced the third installment in the franchise on Twitter.
“It’s Officially! Kissing Booth 3 is coming in 2021,” the streaming platform posted on its official page. The first Kissing booth, which came out in May 2018, was based on the Beth Reekles self-published A-age novel. Directed and adapted by Vince Marcello, the film became Netflix’s most watched film in 2018.

This is followed by Elle (King), a teenager who has a romance with high school senior and bad boy Noah (Allordy), a lifelong friendship with Noah’s younger brother, Lee (Courtney). The sequel raised Harvard and Elle with Nova in her senior year of high school.
The film sees Elle taking care of a long distance relationship, best friends with her friend, and enrolling in her friendship with a good-looking new classmate Marco (Perez). But as Noah becomes closer to a college girl (Richardson-Sellers), it tests Elle’s faith in him.
